Cromptons Sheet Metal
dating back to 1869
the company has a long
and diverse history
always supporting Canterbury
business. Contributing
to that history the
sheet metal factory
was purchased by Gary
and Vicki Beatty in
1998 and has since grown
considerably since the
days as a plumbers supply
of roofing accessories.
Today Cromptons Sheet
Metal is a niche sheet
metal and light engineering
company supplying products
and services to a variety
of industry sectors
including building,
construction and roofing
industries nationally.
Scope
of work is now diversified
from traditional flashings,
spouting and rainwater
heads to large ammunition
storage boxes for government
departments, hand rails,
balustrade, architectural
metal work, commercial
sink benches, tool boxes
and general sheet metal
work. Customers include
large reputable construction
companies, manufacturers,
exporters, builders
and others from a variety
of industry sectors.
Some recent local contracts
include the supply of
metal work to Countdown
Church Corner, Sir Edmund
Hillary Alpine Centre
at Mt Cook and Southern
Cross Hospital Christchurch. |

do not have the ability to
leverage off innovation of
specific or unique product
to manufacture; therefore
we have created our own unique
selling proposition from the
detailed analysis and improvement

During the
past two years Cromptons has
also continued to develop
core business strategies leveraging
off our company values. Implemented
